Topher Stott is a Toronto-based drummer, music director, and event producer renowned for his dynamic presence in the Canadian music scene. Beyond music, he has recently embarked on a new creative journey as an abstract painter, exploring the connection between art, intention, and mindfulness. Deeply influenced by his interest in Buddhism, Topher approaches painting as a meditative practice— that embraces impermanence, spontaneity, and presence.

Through abstraction, Topher investigates the principles of non-attachment and flow, allowing gesture, texture, and color to emerge organically rather than through rigid intention. In doing so, his practice aligns with Buddhist notions of transience and the ephemeral nature of experience, while paying humbly paying tribute to his art influences Lee Krasner, Gerhard Richter and Kazuo Nakamura, among others.
